My collection began in 1997. A good friend gave me my first Pooh plush for my birthday. It was an 10" Pooh that I left in my car. Another friend saw the Pooh in my car and thought I would like a 32" Pooh. It was at that point that I caught the Pooh bug! I met my boyfriend a couple years later and he would become the major contributor to the collection. Anywhere he travelled he would be on the lookout for new Poohs. 10 years later he is still just as excited when he finds a unique Pooh that I do not own yet. At last count, my collection was just over 200. I also collect other Pooh items such as Pez Dispensers, McDonald Happy Meal Toys, Stationary, and even a Crystal Pooh Figurine.
